Thursday 10th July and Thursday 31st July, 10am – 3pm @

Great Shelford Free Church (come to Ashen Green Entrance)

You are invited to come together for another opportunity to sew for a truly impactful cause. Many female students in Support Malawi schools (formerly known as Aquaid) miss significant time in class because they lack access to sanitary protection during their periods. As a result, they are often kept at home and miss out on vital education.

We’ve sourced the materials needed to make washable sanitary pads, and we’d love for you to join us in assembling these simple but essential items to send to the schools. All sewing skill levels are welcome — there will be a variety of tasks, from cutting and stitching to quality control.

Tea and coffee will be provided. Please bring your own lunch (or visit Cara Coffee nearby), and if you have a sewing machine, feel free to bring it along!

For more info, please email administrator@shelfordfreechurch.org.uk or
