Saturday 5th Dec, outside Gt Shelford Free Church at 10am-12pm. Contributions welcome.

If you would like to buy a cake/ buns/ biscuits but can’t get there please call Jane Furlow who will arrange delivery. The money from the sale will go to paying for transport/admin/ training costs.
If you have filled boxes they can be brought along to the cake sale-further dates and times will be posted on the website after Monday.

Each year the Samarians Purse ask people to generously pack shoebox gifts to bless children in need around the world. Each shoebox contains small gifts, toys, items of clothing etc. that are so loved and valued by the children that receive them.

The Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Appeal drop-off week has now been scheduled for the 5th - 14th of December. Boxes can be dropped off at Tucker Gardner Estate Agents during that week so please hang on to your box until then. Thank you!

You can share in this great project by:

  • Filling a shoebox (see the website for ideas and suggestions) - empty flat pack boxes are available from the church and Tucker Gardner
  • Donate some items to go in a shoebox - they can be left at the church in the food bank box by the front door
  • Donate some money for items or for transport, admin, training costs - please contact the church office if this is of interest
  • Fill an 'online' shoebox - you can choose items from the website for £20 including a £5 donation so it feels like a box from you.
The website can be accessed here

Thank you!
