Mission... |
We have a Mission Team at Great Shelford Free Church who organise short mission trips (recent trips have been to South Africa), as well as keeping up to date with missionaries in the UK and around the world that we support on a corporate basis, many of whom we know personally and have "sent out" from this Church. |
We also seek to reach out to our local community through various events, including playing an active role in the Shelford Feast in July. (The pictures below and right are from The Feast 2008, and show the Great Shelford Free Church stall and climbing wall, and the GSFC team running the Chariot Race event.) |

The church is particularly focussed on outreach at the current time during our 'Month of Mission', which started 31st May until 12th July.
There are various events and activities going on, which are open to all the community, culminating on Shelford Feast day on Sunday 12th July 2009.

Ministry... |
| We believe we are all called to serve God by ministering to others in many different ways, using the unique skills and gifts that God has given us. There are many areas of ministry or service within the Church, such as as pastoral care, prayer, working with children & young people, preaching, stewarding, looking after the finances or fabric, to name but a few! |
