Lunch is served…
At 12.15pm every Friday at Great Shelford Free Church, volunteers prepare an appetising lunch for anyone who wishes to join us. Many stay following the Friday morning worship but others join just for lunch and are treated to a varying menu which could include cottage pie, pasta, fish and chips, jacket potatoes, pizza, quiche, or many other things! The meal usually starts with soup, with a main course and dessert to follow and finally it is rounded off with a cuppa. |

We currently have between 25 and 30 most Friday lunchtimes and you would be very welcome to join us. If you wish to contribute towards the costs we suggest a donation of £2.50, but this is not obligatory.
In August 2008 the surplus from donations was put towards an outing for the attendees who went to Ickworth House and Gardens near Bury St Edmunds and the attendees have chosen to send any surplus for the current period to Through Faith Missions. |
